I'm looking to spruce up and tidy up my brick driveway and slab concrete patio as gone dark over time with usual grime and algae.

Can anyone recommend a fluid cleaner I can use to clean it all up?

I also looked into a turbo nozzle for my pressure washer but thinking liquid cleaner might be easier for the job?

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Any cleaner in particular?

Worth getting a turbo nozzle to make it easier or will the bog standard nozzle do the job?

Power output of the washer will make as much difference as the nozzle, my Nilfisk came with a patio cleaner attachment, which worked well

I have also used a product called Wet and Forget, will seem a lot like snake oil, but it does work, dont expect any instant results if using on untreated slabs, will be a few months before you look out the window and see it working, it has also done a good job on the slabs i did jet was the year before and a year later were turning again, after applying this stuff it has been about 3/4 years now, and they still look good, will be down the parents on thursday will see if i remember and take some photos

go to aldi and buy as many 2 litre bottles of bleach for 45p as your heart wishes.

do not spend £5+ on fancy cleaners which won't work anywhere near as well as thick concentrated bleach.

pour 2l bleach onto bucket. add 2l hot water and brush it over the effected areas and let the rain wash it away.

i do my driveway every year and it's sparkling clean even after a year i do it again to get rid of the moss. my area is full of moss so it keeps coming back in the cracks but the slabs and monoblock is spotless. in fact i can see the part of the slab over the other side of the gate which i missed as it's got a green tinge to it. whereas the bit i did is still shiny grey.

I ended up bleaching an area as a test and it killed off the moss. I also got some oxygen bleach / sodium percarbonate so it's a bit more kid friendly near the areas they will be playing.

Some heavy brushing and it is looking cleaner. Will give it the once over on the weekend.

as long as they don't play on it until after it's rained it's fine to use normal bleach.

good to see someone else converted to using it over stupidly expensive products which don't do as good a job.

I use caustic soda, mix it in the watering can and just leave it on next time it rains it's spotless. Deals with any stubborn weeds as well.

can you get that in bulk cheaper than bleach 45p for 2L?
It's £3 for 500g and i use about 200g to do the whole patio.
I used to use bleach, but my dad told me how caustic soda is one of the few things easily purchased that will kill horsetail. I noticed as a side effect it cleaned everything without any effort.
