Free VPN to use in China for a couple of days?

ProtonVPN has a free option, I use the paid version but I have used the free version in the past and had no issues.

Literally, have any of you guys read or grasped the OP? It's like someone has asked what to cook for dinner and you've sent him on a 5 day intensive cookery course with various options as to student loans and financing.

Apart from all the posts suggesting VPNs which they have used in China.

The guy has said he wants to check social media occasionally whilst on holiday and some people are suggesting installing a paid VPN on a router...
