Would this annoy you?

So I ordered a CPU cooler from jungle website as I have a voucher to use up and they sent it with no packaging, and all of the delivery labels just stuck on the box so its basically covered in labels. They aren't removable without wrecking the facing of the packaging.

I know its just a CPU cooler but I kinda like to keep the boxes for stuff. Would this annoy you or would you just not bother about it?

don't be a weirdo use the cooler bin the box . If I worked at amazon and you returned it for that reason I'd take a dump in a box and post it back to you..

I understand what your saying but I wouldn't worry about it, if it was a AMD TR box or 9900k retail box then yeah it would annoy me.

It would annoy me, but I probably wouldn't send it back as I'd take the labels off myself if it was in decent condition. Use a hair dryer to heat the labels and peel them off gently.

OK so the consensus is I am a weirdo, fair enough as I pretty much knew that anyway :)

Bit silly to attach a pile of shipping labels directly onto packaging though, I mean my SNES classic, for example, didnt cost much more and isnt much bigger than the cooler box, and if they had plastered that with labels I would gone mad!

It would annoy me, I like to keep my boxes for pc parts and in the best condition I can. I don't know why I just like to keep the boxes and in mint condition.

they sent me a gpu like this and it did annoy me but i didn't send it back as it was actually my fault as sometimes with orders they give you an option to get it boxed 'hide the contents' or something it says and you need to select it and i obviously overlooked it.

yeah there is an option for 'this is gift' which I assume must be this so Ill know for future reference.

I am all for reduced packaging but do you really think that the surface of your purchase should be covered with labels? Ones which cannot be removed.

Personally? I just don't care. As long as it's new and undamaged.

I guess a younger me may have done. But really..not anymore.

Having said that, if I bought a new Rolex and it was like that...then yes :-) I would very much care.

Sounds like it wasnt sold by them as they constantly review their packaging and its always in a box or cardboard when I have bought stuff of them. I take it this was from a seller using the platform ? When buying on there I rarely buy none sold them stuff as you never know for sure what you are getting is genuine or good quality.

I was thinking this. I think i got my 1080ti delivered without amazon box though. And that was shipped and sold by Amazon.

Depends what the packaging is like - I ordered a printer and it turned up in the product box with no packaging but it was a double-walled cardboard box and fairly substantial so didn't bother me at all - if it was something like the average GPU box which is often thin cardboard and minimal packaging with only cushioning against shock rather than crushing I'd not be happy though.
