The Division 2 - March 2019

Question - now and again I loot or pick up 'explosive rounds' but I'm not sure which weapon class they are intended to be used with. Can you switch ammo types on weapons?

theres explosive, incendiary and shock.. you get them from the small boxes (usually red or yellow) and they add 30 of said rounds into the weapon you have equipped

Members of OCUK Two clan, anyone less than(or equal to) level 15 by Friday will get booted to make space for others that might want to try the clan. (If there are any left who want to :p)

The OCUK (unnumbered) clan has space for those who are looking.

Just search and apply, I try to remember to process applications every time I log in.

I’ll be back to playing this tonight onwards.

If anyone wants to add me it’s ED209

New system is finally and up running so just got drivers etc to install.

Looking forward to it as missed playing the game over the last four days or so.

OK, because DMC 5 is incredibly boring I have been returning to this game and have been joining matchmaking which for the most part is good fun. But quite often I joins group and I am nowhere near where the other members are or I spawn next to the group leader who is just standing about doing nothing.

How do I form my own matchmaking group as I would like help in doing some missions in tier 1?

What is recalibration all about, I am sure I tried this but I felt the weapon was not as good as it was? I suspect I am doing it all wrong though.

How do I increase gear stats as I have been told that they re not high enough on occasion?

I gave a green circle flashing round the Campus but have no idea why, it might have something to do with the drone controller at the White Hiuse who mentioned a mission which I did not note?

Bloody annoying when you are doing the activities to raise a checkpoint to level 4 and an NPC squad moves in and takes it over under your nose!

You can access a matchmaking menu from the map screen and open up your game during a mission, or you can go through the social bit in pause menu to send out invites to friends/clan etc.

Re-calibration is about swapping talents and stats from other pieces of gear onto a desired piece of gear. Very handy for getting specific stats or perks on your equipment when creating a build. I'd recommend watching some videos on youtube as they'll be able to explain it much better. It's pretty important once you're at endgame.

It also raises the GS of the item somewhat which leads into the next point

You have to equip or keep an item that is of a higher GS in you inventory, items will then gradually start to drop with a higher GS than the stuff you have. Re-calibrating items also boosts their GS a little so it's worth messing around with the gear you have to give you a little boost.

It's then a case of rinse and repeat all the way up to GS 500 so don't become too attached to the stuff you have right now.

It could be because the settlement is blockaded? If the settlement icon is red and you can't fast travel there that means that it has been blockaded by the Black Tusk. You need to hover over the icon and see what it is linked to on the map, clearing that activity will then free up the settlement and open up fast travel again.

Thanks. But I know how to access the matchmaking part of the menu, what I cannot see is how to set up a group myself?

im not 100% on this but i think the way it works is when you matchmake for a specific mission etc is searches for an available group, if all the groups are full it will then create a new one with you as the leader so others can join you

i dont think you can manually start one as the leader through matchmaking

That's my understanding too.

There is a way you could potentially force yourself. Set your matchmaking to private, start a group, and then change your privacy settings again.

There's no reason to want to be group leader though, as far as I know there's no advantages etc.
