Should do. Not tried it yet with a current Asus 1151 board as don't find them too bright at default settings at least and only had it a short time(yet to fiddle!). Previous Asus X399 board you could disable them in the bios or change their behaviour, including changing to having them off when the PC was running and led's on when off, if you so desired.
Prefer none at all but probably only the poverty spec boards these days have none at all. An old Z170-E Asus board I use doesn't have any.
