I have no clue what specs i want, just want a gaming pc to play games like cs go. I would prefer one that is prebuilt as i am useless with building stuff and am afraid to mess up. Already have a monitor and mouse thanks for the help

Would you consider building it yourself if it got you a better specced PC? Do you have a mate who could help?..

The CPU and GPU come with 2 free games respectively - these could be sold for ~£25 each - £100 total which you could take off the total cost (ideally, you would have 16Gb of memory).

You would also need to buy Windows but, if you Google, you can get keys for ~£10 - and save yourself a lot of money.

This would chew through CSGO - but need to add ~£50 for OcUK to build - too pricey?

This would be approx £520 when x4 games sold and ~£50 build cost and Windows added on.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £559.19 (includes shipping: £12.30)

Wait so could you maybe spec me one for like 450? I'm don't necessarily need it to "chew through" cs go and Id like to save as much as possible thanks very much for the help tho
I tried ot navigate the pre-builds but not familiar enough with them - the only 2400G system build i could find had 2400MHz memory and an awful motherboard so gave up...

So back to custom OcUK build - but close to £450 budget once you sell games (you could drop to 8Gb, swap to conventional drive, lesser motherboard - but reduce future upgrade options - and even risk a budget PSU (i don't advise this).

You still get 2 free games with the CPU, so could sell for total of ~£50 - so should hit close to your £450 budget once sold.

This would still have to be built ~£50 and then ~£10 for Windows key (so similar price to above with less performance).

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £469.20 (includes shipping: £12.30)

FPS example but clocked CPU:

EDIT: You could sub this PSU in to save more money but would limit your GPU upgrades even more in the future:
My basket at Overclockers UK:

So total would be £463 + £50 for build - ~£50 for selling games + £10 Windows 10 Key.

So approx cost of system: £473

Dont know what model it is but will it be ok for gaming?
Sorry, bud I can't answer that one effectively without knowing model - but if the back light isn't knackered and its 20" or above it should be playable.

Thanks for the help btw would you also recommend a new monitor?
Keeping your budget in mind - AOC 22" and 24" and 75Hz Freesync. I added the Acer 144Hz because if CSGO is your main game then even using a 2400G without a discrete GPU you will still achieve very high, fluctuating, FPS:

Yo how do you tell overclockers to build it or do they just do it?
Copying/editing and pasting what I've written in a previous post but still applies:

You need to post in the Pre Sales Forum within the Customer Services Forum - Clicky

Post your request for a build quote either: linking them to this thread and the post # with the spec you want or 'quote' the build within the post request (copy and paste the spec). Or if you've made some revisions simply list the components and ask for them to give you a quote for build.

Your spec is very simple so the build quote should be the lowest tier. They'll guide you through the process and if you have any concerns/questions ask them - they have always put good representatives in CS Forum.

*Remember you get 2 free games with that CPU - they may need a reminder if building (doubt it - but can see how it could get overlooked).
