Brand new build roughly £1000

bit of a improvement from my gt72 2qe 980m laptop iv had for a few years anyway haha
After some time with 27" 2560x1440 you don't want to even think about playing with that tiny screen...
Or more properly are wondering how you could even tolerate it in the first place.

I thought that would be a handy language to learn for when they annex you?
That's why Finland has possibly the largest artillery of Western Europe when counting everything in stock.
Including various grid square erasers in case of more zerg rush tactics.
There has been some "creative accounting" to fool some treaties.
Too bad they didn't do that with Ottawa Treaty (devised&written by aggressor countries) signed by stupid politicians.

/A wee bit off topic - but OP won't mind as he's sorted until his build arrives...

Understandable, given your neighbour's penchant for overstaying its welcome when it visits neighbouring countries.

Christ, snow can even make a barrage of rocket artillery look idyllic (grid square erasers).

I like this style of dry humour:

"Oh, well... At least it will be difficult to miss."

Yep, with the Russians not signed up plus other treaties they've not joined or ostensibly ignored for years - i'm not surprised that your countryman are slightly disconcerted with this.

In Finland, the National Coalition Party and the Finns Party proposed withdrawing from the treaty.[84][85] The stance is supported by the Finnish Ministry of Defence report from 2003, which sees landmines as an effective weapon against a mechanised invasion force.[86]Recently, in early 2018, an MP from the National Coalition Party started a citizens' initiative to withdraw from the Ottawa Treaty.[87] Also, the Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö (Blue Reform; formerly Finns Party prior to its split) has been supporting withdrawal from the treaty, saying that he "wants to rip it in half"

It would certainly help curb possible future zerg tactics. (You know you're in a nerdy forum when you're referencing Starcraft tactics for international political stratagems)

Up and running guys looking and sounding good so far shame i gotta put a cover over it.

Not installed win 10 yet getting it ready...

Spotted this...is that normal for the ram to be different

Enable and select profile 1 for now - 2933MHz. Then up to profile 2 once you've established the system is stable (after windows install etc...)

any advice please :)

been trying to install windows but screen keeps saying no signal and turning into sleep, if i restart the pc it loads up fine and can get in bios boot menu etc, but trying to install windows keeps going on and off?!

trying again now with usb in rear rather than the front case usbs, seems good so far!

Yes, rule of thumb use rear usb for Windows install - if you've changed boot order, remember to remove USB on restart.

(ideally, only allow critical updates and download motherboard and GPU drivers directly from manufacturer - i.e. MB drivers from MSI but the GPU drivers direct from Nvidia (not Gigabyte) and only install drivers (wouldn't select geforce experience or 3D)

kinda stuck in a loop now keep getting error windows retstarted during installation -

just looking round some videos etc at least monitors staying on!

full format and reinstalled, removed usb when it says getting ready for restart - boots up and then says the error "install windows, the computer restarted unexpectadly blah blah blah click ok to restart

looked at my last post - it should say UEFI USB - may be the reason.

Also which USB ports are you using at the back?
