Heyo all,

After gaming on a mediocre laptop for a few years, I've decided to build my first proper PC.
It would be for 1080p gaming, on a mATX form factor. Here's what I thought of getting so far:

  • AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with Wraith Stealth
  • Asrock B450M Pro-4
  • HyperX Fury 2x4Go 2933Mhz
  • Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 8Go
  • MX550 500Go SSD
  • BarraCuda 1To HDD
  • Thermaltake Core V21 Case
  • Corsair TX550M 80+ Gold
  • Asus PCE-AC51 wifi card
  • 2x Arctic F14 Silent fans
That's around 900€ without:
  • LG 24" LED 24MP59G-P
  • Ducky Channel One 2 Mini RGB (Cherry MX RGB Brown)
which comes down to 1100€.
Any advice would be welcome!

Also wondering how to undervolt the GPU so if anyone knows about that, that'd be great.

Hi and welcome to OCUK :)

Wait for Ryzen 2, it's only a few weeks away. There could be something very special on the horizon :)

What's your overall budget as I'm sure we can come up with something suitable

Thanks for the reply!

I'm not planning on buying anything as of yet anyways, but yeah I heard the prices would lower.

I was aiming for 800-900 without peripherals (screen and keyboard).

Do we know the price tags for Zen 2?

AMD announced this during Computex:
Ryzen 9 3900X, 12C/24T, 3.8GHz to 4.6GHz, 70MB cache, 105W TDP, US$499
Ryzen 7 3800X, 8C/16T, 3.9GHz to 4.5GHz, 36MB cache, 105W TDP, US$399
Ryzen 7 3700X, 8C/16T, 3.6GHz to 4.4GHz, 36MB cache, 65W TDP, US$329
Ryzen 5 3600X, 6C/12T, 3.8GHz to 4.4GHz, 35MB cache, 95W TDP, US$249
Ryzen 5 3600, 6C/12T, 3.6GHz to 4.2GHz, 35MB cache, 65W TDP, US$199

Not sure of the GBP pricing yet.
