Liquid Advice required

Hello everyone,

So over a year ago i built my pc using EKWB products and Mayhems pastel white liquid with purple dye.
I am currently thinking of rebuilding the pc and looking into using Mayhems XT-1 purple nuke. But im wondering will the my EK nickel waterblocks will react to XT-1 nuke or will i be fine?

Very nice build. I would use Mayhems X1 purple coolant not XT-1. X1 seems to play nicely with most makes of tubing and other components. There is a compatibility list in the second picture on the product page I linked to.

What if i just get some Mayhems H2o and add dye and additives to the liquid. Will the Nickel waterblocks be fine with it or no?

If you do that then it works out much more expensive than if you just bought X1 in the first place. I have never had any problems with X1. The only nickel plated items in my loop are some nickel plated fittings and they look just like they were when new.

Yea price wise it would be more expensive but im bored of pastel fluids and want something clearer if that makes sense.

X1 comes in all sorts of varieties. Mine is blood red and there is even a clear version. You can see the full range here.
