Cooling Capacity of one D5 pump

Should be fine if it's near the max settings. At one point I had blocks for a motherboard, ram, cpu, 2 gpu's and a 560mm rad with a QDC in one loop.

So what would you say is the cooling "strength" of 1xD5 pump.

I am sure it can do 1xCPU and 1xGPU and 2x360 rads. But could it do 2x480 rads ?
That's what I'll be running in my current PC very soon, my last one had 2 x 240mm and 1 x 360mm with CPU & GPU all on setting 2, worked perfectly fine :)

Easily. My D5 is pushing my coolant through a gpu block, cpu block, 2x 360mm rads, XSPC Photon 270 reservoir, big inline filter and around 12 metres of 12mm copper pipe/10/16mm mayhems tubing/14mm petg hardline tubing with no problems at all.

My D5 handles 1 cpu, 2 gpus, 1x 480 rad, 1 240 rad and an xspc photon 270 reservoir.

If you're using high flow restriction radiators, combined with high flow restriction blocks, then it might benefit from 2 pumps. Otherwise, 1 is fine for even 2 x 480.

I had in the past, 2x480, 1x 240, cpu block, 2x gpu blocks with a single D5 on setting 3 and it ran fine, around 2000rpm I think. 2c difference from setting 1 and setting 5.

I also tested dual pumps in the same system and didn’t notice any improvements. In fact I found it worse due to dual pump noise.

Thanks Tyler !

It'll be fine.

I've got a relatively long loop in a 900D with Photon 270 Res, 2 x 480s, GPU block, CPU block, Aquaero fan controller block and a QDC.

I run it just over half speed with excellent temps.
