i said someone accused me of that last time i tired to sell to second highest bidder. and said the person that won must have been my second account.
so you are wrong
i've tried that before
he's already got himself coveredThe only problem with your plan is eBay will refund the buyer from your account if it arrives damaged or faulty.
which is why he was thinking of just pocketing the guys money.he paid by bank transfer - no come back on me
Right here:
that was referring to selling to second highest bidder

you owe me a ******* keyboard as mine now has Cola splattered all over it.There are many sharp tools in the shed. You sir, are a pot plant.
Just package them properly, send them and get on with your life.
to package them properly i'd need at least another £20 off him.
so do you suggest i go back and ask him to transfer another £20?
explain to him they need to be sent seperately with adequate packaging.
he is adamant a box from the supermarket is enough.
Tell him that then, if he chooses not to send more, do what you can.to package them properly i'd need at least another £20 off him.

Why did you give him your bank details if you had no intention of posting the speakers?
I found out the thing weighed 25kg today when I went to post it.
So how do you explain me having zero intention of posting when i weighed it today? yesterday i assumed in the postage calculator it weighed 15kg. however that courier doesn't take anything over 15kg.
i quoted him on postage believing it weighed 15kg.
so should i now re-quote based on 25kg?
this is exactly why it was collection only. and now why i think a partial refund keeps us all happy.
Why not just use the extra £40 you're scamming him out of?
... extremely thick Glaswegian accent...
in your opening post.....So where is the £40 scam in this equation?
Option 2 - Refund him £30 - tell him to treat this as a lesson learnt and I pocket £40 for the inconvenience and to teach moron a valuable lesson to learn to read.
