These ram are b-die ?

I want to know if these ram modules are b-die or not

F4-3600C17D-32GTZR

F4-3600C17Q-32GTZR

Yes they are

F4 = DDR4
3600 = The Speed ie 3600mhz
C17 = the cas latency
D-32 = dual channel kit totaling 32gb (2 x 16gb sticks)
Q-32 - quad channel kit totaling 32gb (4 x 8gb sticks)
GTZR = G.Skill Trident Z RGB edition

Everything 3200mhz C14 and above is B-Die where G.skill are concerened.

Ok thank you, I'll go for 2x16gb for ryzen 3000 or i9 9900

Kind of... half correct.

You can have DR (dual rank) modules, which is 8Gb per side.

But ultimately you want SR (single rank) modules which are 8Gb on one side.
They are the most compatible with Ryzen and will overclock the best.
So 2x16 gb and 4x8gb are b-die and they give equal not ?

1x8Gb (8Gb per DIMM) are single rank.

2x8Gb (16Gb per DIMM) are dual rank.

So 2x16 gb and 4x8gb are b-die and they give equal not ?
  • 2 DIMMs of 8Gb SR should overclock the highest.
  • DR or 4 DIMMs of SR should not overclock as well as 2 DIMMs of SR.
