upgrade with £300 budget

Greetings and salutations

I hope you are all well and enjoying the lovely weather

I was wondering if I could get some assistance with a light upgrade for my dear brother.

His rig is now closing in on 10 years (he claims) and is starting to buckle, he has a budget of £300 and I was wondering if you could spec up a Motherboard, CPU and Ram with a SSD combo?

PSU has been replaced recently as well as the GPU

I had a look but was unable to find something similar in previous threads

As always your assistance will be most appreciated.

Personally I'd fork out for a bigger SSD, but this basket ticks the boxes without compromising on quality while meeting the budget (£299.96 before shipping).

New ryzen 3600 might be around £188+ ... Either worth saving or might drop prices else where

If your brother needs WIFI over ethernet can look at the MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC, a bit more expensive at 120 but would cover the price of an additional WIFI card and will be compatible with the new releases.
