Whats the shortest amount of time Nvidia have launched new cards in from the last launch?

I had a look back at my old post and updated it there.

30 Sept 1995 NV1 ST 500nm
1996 NV2 Cancelled
1 April 1997 NV3 Riva 128 ST 350nm
23 March 1998 Fahrenheit NV4 Riva TNT TSMC 350nm
15 March 1999 Fahrenheit NV5 B5 Riva TNT2 Ultra TSMC 250nm
11 Oct 1999 Celsius NV10 A3 Geforce 256 TSMC 220nm
26 Apr 2000 Celsius NV15 A5 Geforce 2 GTS TSMC 150nm
27 Feb 2001 Kelvin NV20 A5 Geforce 3 TSMC 150nm
6 Feb 2002 Kelvin NV25 A3 Geforce 4 Ti 4600 TSMC 150nm
6 March 2003 Rankine NV30 Geforce FX 5800 TSMC 130nm

9 Nov 2010 Fermi 2.0 GF110 Geforce GTX 580 TSMC 40nm
22 March 2012 Kepler GK104 Geforce GTX 680 TSMC 28nm
23 May 2013 Kepler GK110 Geforce GTX 780 TSMC 28nm

20 Sept 2018 Turing TU104 Geforce RTX 2080 TSMC 12nm
23 July 2019 Turing TU104 Geforce RTX 2080 SUPER TSMC 12nm

Found 5 GPUs with shortest life within a year:

Celsius NV30 Geforce FX 5800 lasted 2 months, 6 days or 67 days replaced with NV35 Geforce FX 5900
Fermi GF100 Geforce GTX 480 lasted 2 months, 14 days or 228 days replaced with GF110 Geforce GTX 580
Tesla G92 Geforce 9800 GTX lasted 2 months, 19 days or 80 days replaced with GT200 Geforce GTX 260
Tesla 2.0 GT200 Geforce GTX 260 lasted 3 months or 92 days replaced with GT200B Geforce GTX 260 Core 216
Tesla G92 Geforce 9800 GTX lasted 3 months, 18 days or 110 days replaced with Geforce 9800 GTX+
Curie G71 Geforce 7900 GTX lasted 7 months, 30 days or 244 days replaced with Geforce GTX 8800

NV30 is Nvidia shortest GPU life.

Not surprised Radeon VII had the shortest GPU life ever EOL in less than a month after launch accorded to AMD AIB partner.

yes i game on g synch at 2560x1440p 144hz :) so should be fine?
I'd go with the 2080 super personally. It's a shame it seems to offer the smallest jump of the super cards but 10-15% faster than the original 2080 apparently and £80 less or so (2080 FE vs 2080 Super FE). At 1440P, the 2080 super is a good choice IMO. 2070 super would be fine but little extra oomph from the 80 super might be worth paying extra for.

Based on that time line, it looks quite possible that Nvidia could launch new cards in time for CyberPunk 2077 around April.

That's abut 9-10 months away.
Ye, 3xxx series i think will be really good, the Super cards perf bumps are decent but i think refreshing the 2xxx range shows how much better 3xxx cards will be. Might well release by then, I'd say 12 months at most. I think they'll pretty much blow away next gen console performance as well. At least the 3070 prob will.

Been offered £500 for my 1080ti.....Do I easy shuffle or not?.....Hmmmmmm.....
No, don't rip them off. It's not worth that :D. 2070 super I believe will be less than that brand new (£475 FE). Some seem to do well finding fools to sell used tat to overpriced but that's the buyers decision I suppose.
Nice to see some are caving to Nvidia's latest offerings :p
