Ryzen 5 1080p first PC - build check

Morning all

Speccing up a PC for a good friend of mine for him to order, tower and monitor only with no Op system needed.
Hes wanting a good solid 1080p build for a variety of games and general family usage, browsing some storage for photos etc

I've put together this which should be ample for his strict budget of £900 max including monitor and we can have a crack at giving it a bit of an overlock too, Cpu comes with the Spire not the stealth cooler too which is great.

Any tweaks or reccomendations would be great !

I would see what the R5 3600 is priced at tomorrow. Might be able to fit that in there.

If wifi isn't needed then you can save £20 by going with the MSI B450 Tomahawk instead.

The TeamGroup 3000MHz ram is cheaper at £64.99. Also for an extra £7 you can get the SuperFlower Leadex III 550W Gold fully modular unit.

And if you can't wait/afford the 3600 I would bump the CPU to a 2600X - you could consider the Bitfenix 550W Formula (solid entry PSU) for ~£66 off setting some of the 2600X price. Plus, a plain Kolink Stronghold case would save you an additional £25 and retinal damage.

Still wait for the 9th though with GPU pricing and CPU

The look on his face when he was picking cases has already determined this is the case he would like =D Like Marmite isnt it lol.

Out of interest why the 2600x instead of the 2600 with an overclock ?

I had completly forgotten about the bundle deals, not sure if that comes with a Cpu cooler ?

Guess the moral of the story is too see what tomorrow and the next weeks pricing brings as we could switch the core build about somewhat.

All ryzen comes with a cooler, and actually works lol .
Ryzen 3600 should be around £190.
