Cannot install the May 2019 update of Windows 10 on my Dell Latitude that has Intel CPU and Intel Integrated GPU as I am asked to install an AMD driver!?
Not sure if it will actually work even if I install the driver but don't see why I need to install a driver that is not relevant to my PC just so i can update windows.

Does your laptop have an Intel 8305G/8705G/8706G/8709G/8809G processor by any chance?

If so then the Intel processor has integrated AMD Vega Graphics.

Windows contains plenty of drivers with "AMD" in the name regardless of having any AMD hardware so it might also be helpful to list the full driver name.

This is just a sample:

A partly corrupt Windows install could be to blame unless it's just a bug.

The x64 instruction set used by both Intel and AMD cpu's is AMD proprietary tech and is cross licensed with Intel against x86. Your machine, even with no AMD hardware couldn't run a 64 bit Windows os without AMD instruction sets and drivers within windows.

I will leave it for a month as it is probably something that will be fixed with the next update. Doesn't make sense installing unnecessary drivers.

Unable to proceed with installation or upgrade of Windows® 10 May 2019 Update with SATA or NVMe RAID on AMD Ryzen™ systems

Interestingly the SSD which is a Samsung PM951 NVMe shows as being AMD-RAID in device manager under disk drives (AMD-RAID PM951 NVMe Samsung SCSI Disk Device).
