 And looking back to where I got it, I purchased at the right time as it’s gone up £150 in price now  which I guess was the original price lol. So I paid 699.99 its now 849.99.

It’s the

ASUS TUF FX505

With the 256 ssd + 1tb hdd and the 120hz screen, it was these 3 factors I went with it over the intel spec ones and those Acer Nitro’s and can’t see it not doing what I want from it, only thing I would say is the fan can be noisy when doing something, but no worse than my computers :p.

I also purchased a Corsair Harpoon rgb 6k gaming mouse from another store as it was on a clearance(£20), I don’t know how good these are, but would be better than the normal mouse types I own ha.

thanks for the info. My son is looking to buy a gaming laptop in the next 4 weeks and I will keep this in mind.

Upload some benchmarks, it would be interesting to see how these perform.

i havent finished setting it up yet as i havent had chance, but will sort some benchmarks as soon as.

no problem, this is my first gaming laptop, but usually cant go wrong with asus, i will admit had i not ordered it before the price went back up id have got a nitro 5 or something else, for my needs either laptop options from £500-600 would do, depends what you want from the laptop, 120hz screen certainly make things snappy.

recently I have started to buy corsair harpoon mice. They are decent quality and better than the crap I used to use. Each make and type of mouse is different and takes getting used too. I have now changed the mouse in my other computer also for corsair harpoon to make that familiar too. I too started buying these as they weren't too expensive. Only only grip with them is the LED light is too bright and I don't like having too much additional software installed - which is necessary if you wish to change the brightness or colour.
