Neil Armstrong, the first man on the Moon has died.

The hospital accepted responsibility for the death of Neil :(

Armstrong underwent cardiac bypass surgical procedure on Aug. 7, 2012. As a normal part of the process, doctors implanted short-term wires to help pace his heartbeat as he recovers, the Times reported. “However, when a nurse removed these wires, Mr. Armstrong started to bleed internally, and his blood pressure dropped.”

Doctors took Armstrong to a catheterization lab to empty blood from around his heart instead of instantly bringing him into the operating room, a decision ruled by medical professionals hired by both the Armstrong family and the hospital to analyze the death concluded ultimately killed him.

Personally I find $6mn a sum too low for Neil :(
Those responsible should lose their licences and die on the streets penniless.

How much do you personally think Neil's life should have been worth, and why?

Please show your working. You may find it helpful to use an example for comparison, such as your own life, when working out your answer.

Seems you didnt read the article, that died of complete incompetence and mistreatment.

Let me get this correct, you're advocating full asset seizure and a death penalty for anyone found guilty of medical negligence? What about the ones who starved you of oxygen as a baby?

I'm pretty sure we did read it. Serious mistakes were made and rightly a negligence decision was given. But wanting people, who have otherwise probably saved many others and helped improve many lives, to die penniless in the street is deeply questionable.

I'm not a religious man but let him who is without sin cast the first stone...

Without people like Panos I wouldn't have a job at the hospital, leave him be.

Now starving of oxygen turning into cerebral palsy is the serious amounts of money, go for it Panos.
