Firstly, anyone got one? I'm going to give it a whirl primarily for swimming. I currently use a Swimovate watch which is fine for counting in the pool but it doesn't link to an app or anything so feels rather old hat now. If the Mi band works well for controlling Google Play Music etc. and more day-to-day notifications/stuff I'll probably use it as a smart watch too. I'm not expecting a huge amount for £35 though, I'm being realistic!

So, are there any deals around? There's a few dubious sellers on Amazon. Xiaomi themselves are fine at £35 but it's £4.90 shipping and I'm not sure it'd take forever to arrive. They are doing sales for the next few weeks but I can't imagine they'd have the new band discounted

HUAWEI Band 3 Pro is under £50 and packs a lot in it for that price...well worth a look...
Hmn interesting... but Huawei. And it looks to be older than the Mi band 4 which only just came out. Interested to see a comparison though.

@silverblack did you get your Mi Band 4? I got mine at their London store in the end. Absolutely love it so far but one thing I can't understand is that my swimming session was tracked fine on the watch, but there's no option/visibility in the Mi Fit app?

I just have Walking, Running, Cycling

I have had every Mi Band since the original and ordered a couple 4's that according to the tracking should come tomorrow. Got them from Gearbest for £26inc each which normally takes ~8 days. That's exactly how long it just took for the Xiaomi Redmi 7A I just bought to arrive.

Still waiting for it going on for 22 days now. Don't think there is a swimming section in the MI app, perhaps another app specifically for swimming is available.
I'm so impatient I actually hauled myself to the shop :D

I think those sections above are for starting an activity. Obviously you're not going to have your phone at the pool. So, I found where it store your swims- you just click the main Status card on the main page. Easy enough but now it's the day after, I'm struggling to find the stats again (as in, for my swim yesterday). It's a bit odd.

Liking playing around with different faces though!

My two arrived bang on time today. Only took a few seconds to pair with my phone and then after a few firmware updates it copied over all the previous settings from my Mi Band 3, which was handy. It was originally in Chinese but automatically changed to English once the firmware etc updates were done.

Going to track down a tempered glass screen protector as my last one got quite a lot of scatches.

Tempted to get one of these myself. How are you finding the battery life?

My one turned up today 3 weeks delivery time not too bad.
Like that you can change the watch faces now and the music control.
Wish you could change the timeout of the screen seems to go off too fast.

Yeah if you're looking at the music playing it times out before you even get through the artist, let alone the song name!

Wish you could put the music control on the main page, or even better put it by default as the main page whenever music is playing. That would be awesome. As it is, it's way too fiddly to bother with.

Edit:A ordered any replacement bands? Quite fancy some different colours but don't want to end up with something cheap and nasty.
