Asus X299 Sage 10g RAID 0 with 970 EVO Plus Issue

I’m looking to get RAID 0 running on this motherboard with 2 Samsung 970 Plus Drives. They are plugged into the M2 ports of course but the bios only shows 1 drive when trying to raid. I can see both drives on the boot list and in Unix. It does appear to be a compatibility issue but I would love to find a work around.

Wasn't there an issue with needing VROC(?) keys (basically unobtainable) to enable RAID0 with none Intel SSDs?

It was a while ago so I can't remember the details.

I wasn’t sure if VROC was compatible with these drives. Can anyone confirm?

Should work. I have 2 M.2 970 pros running in raid 0 on a msi x299 m7 mobo without issue.

Currently running them without raid 0. Spoke to ASUS and they just sent a compatibility list which was not the most helpful.
