may as well get a super

overpriced graphics cards shocker! lol

Yeah, I guess it should come as no surprise these days, but it's still very disappointing. After all the hype surrounding AIB designs, I can honestly say that the pricing has killed it.

My reference card may be hotter and louder, but at least it's not trying to rob me blind! :p

Did you just pick out the most expensive 5700xt as your example. The Rog Strix 2070 Super is £650. Sapphire Pulse 5700xt is £439.99 so not £500 and is probably better than the Asus if past Asus cards are anything to go by.

£499 for a 5700xt wow

Well muppet, £499 for an Asus ROG (Rip you Off Good) 5700 XT is nothing unusual.

They don't discriminate, Asus ROG will have your pants down when you buy their Nvidia cards too.

So is this something special about a 5700 XT or is it actually Asus ROG seeing how much they can mug people with their extra special gamers brand.

I liked ROG before it went up its own ass with bling and PREMIUM PRICING MAKES THE PRODUCT MORE PREMIUM angle.

If I had to choose between a Super or 5700 I would go with the AMD card every time.

5700 XT is better value for money.

If someone wants to spend silly amounts of money there is always an RTX Titan.

I will probably get a 5700 XT sometime before xmas but at the moment I am spending a lot getting my kitchen sorted out.

I just can't see how it's better value.

The 2070S is faster and I'm highly regarding the tensor cores and incorporating that into perceived value. From a £-P then it's different.

And what you will do with the tensor cores? Reduced image quality DLSS on 5 games? Because DLSS with the 2070/2070S is not the same as with the 2080Ti or even the 2080/2080S, regardless if the game settings are exactly the same between them.

Also as wrote above, 5700XT Pulse goes for £425 in UK, if someone searches around. And makes it better value even against the non existent out of stock (for more than a month) unicorn.....err I mean the 2070S FE.
Except if you want to buy blower 2070S which is £500( or the KFA2). However same argument you can buy blower 5700XT for £374.

None was able to buy 2070S FE @ £475 for a month now, and doubt there will be any stock ever. Same applies to the 2060S FE and 2080S FE. So consumers have to pay the far more expensive AIB ones and in the case of 2070S price starts at £500, with the good cards at £530-540. And Asus at £600.........
