Late time sheet, can they withhold payment?

Wait... Not a chance that they wouldn't try to stop him? Or not a chance they would try?

Edit: I'm not sure which way means what now hah!

Sorry, theres no chance a trust would have any swing over other local hospitals when it comes to locum booking. Anyone with a pulse would be booked for a shift in every trust I've worked in, especially in A&E.

Most depts keep a black list of very dodgy locums we wont have back, but that's internal only. I've never heard if any shady blacklisting of "trouble makers". Even if a locum had a spat with management that wouldn't influence us employing them if they were safe, that's a non clinical problem and wouldn't bother us.

I don’t know. They are quite powerful guys. I’m good at my job and have never had any clinical problems or complaints. I have now asked the hospital if I can re join the bank If they don’t allow it I will probably just move back to london and work there.

They're big fish in a small pond, if our Finance Director told us we we couldn't employ a specific locum we would give absolutely zero "Freddos" to their opinion.

That's not what I've heard!

Also, I've never heard of a charitable Dr before... Wait no, I've never heard of Dr voluntarily giving away their earnings after fighting for them.

Nah you're not actually, my sister had some random set up an entire Facebook group to try and ruin her career, she was an authopod back then, and was advised to leave it be. Dr's are blunt sometimes, move on don't get butt hurt and try to end them, unfortunately somepeople are vindictive. So you could have a whole host of things being said about you and not even know it.

It doesn't matter though, live your life, take control and dominate this world. Forget the chatter :)

If you need any work around London/Essex/Kent, I can give you some details of a healthcare agency that specialises in offering locum contracts to healthcare professionals, I've used them before and they're very helpful and keep you updated if anything pops up

Congrats on getting the money you were owed.. but... you work for 2 months without even recording what hours you work... submit no timesheets.. wait 5 months... have to get HR to give you a list of your hours which you then submit. The level of disorganisation is astounding, especially for a doctor. Please never work in my hospital if I ever need to go there.

"it's actually a lot of money and I'm really unhappy"
Receives it and immediately gives it away to charity, meaning you worked two months for someone for free

Lol what. Your stories are always strange. Almost DiamondMark level of nonsense.
