A sunnier or damper area than Ron-ski....
Was just thinking of upgrading one of the pcs and getting a 1080ti or a 1070ti but found Overclockers don't have any at all???

What did I miss?? Has Nvidia renamed them or something daft?

They were replaced nearly a year ago, with the slightly faster and definitely more expensive 2000 series.

What Nvidia does is curve off production carefully in order to not over supply the market and thus move consumers to a new SKU instead of discounting remaining stock. By controlling the flow of silicon to the partner and supplier channels they effectively control the price. Good business sense, very anti consumer.

You're supposed to buy the 2080S now, btw it costs more.

Doubled in price and labeled 2080ti, get the wallet out fella!

He might find one briefly at £1000 before a big uk retailer buys all the stock and relists them at £1150. Been watching it happen for weeks uk retailers buying stock from each other and pushing the prices up on everything but blower models.

Type into Google 2080ti price rises, Prices rising in August 2019 on a 12month old card.

Answer? End-of-Life in product life cycle, been a while too ;)

I have one in my computer. You are welcome to buy it when the 30xx series is released.
