I have a new Galaxy A70

Cables surrounding the USB-C are a bit of a mine field

I know "any cable" will work, but most will damage over a long term

anybody understands all this, help me find 2 cables

1 for transferring files from my PC (i have SS 1 and SS 2 and USB 3, USB 3.1 and USB 3.2)

and 1 for charging

Although i use the Samsung Wall socket and cable that come with my device, it's USB-C both ends so in need of another

I think i might get these 2 (Belkin for charging, the Anker for transfers) :

Not all USB cables are made equal. I've several USB A to C cables and the fastest for charging is the one that came with my Pocophone. I use this for charging my phone and powerbank (also Xiaomi, am a Xiaomi whore at the mo).

Amazon basics ones are definitely slower for charging

Do you mean cables will damage over time?

Never saw much point in paying a lot for cables, bought a pack of Gritin cables from the rainforest place, £6 for 3 pack and can't tell much difference between the Samsung one that came with my S10e.

Take a look for reviews from Benson Leung. He's a google chap and does/did a lot of testing of USB-C cables available on Amazon.
One killed his Chromebook Pixel 2. The manufacturer mixed up the +ve and ground wires in the cable. Oops.

But, generally. Anker cables are perfectly fine.

I've always used Syncwire cables from reputable a seller (so no fakes). Braided, always worked brilliantly and never had a "bad connection" or "didn't charge" scenario. Moved my phone, my work USB cable, wifes phone, MIL phone cables all over and ranging in age from 6 months to 1 year all are going perfectly well.

Sometimes you find the 6ft ones cheaper than the 3ft depending what offers are on.

All of the Amazon Basics cables have the pulldown resister and are fully compatible with everything. Just buy those and nothing remains to worry about.

Buy some baseus ones off aliexpress or some ugreen.

Both make high quality items for a fraction of the price.

I usually charge my galaxy S9 wirelessly overnight and have the original USB cable for the rare occasion I connect to a PC. I had a similar cable in vehicle for connecting to head unit to use Android Auto. Always seems a pain plugging in to use the latter and usually required both hands. Took a punt on one of these;

May not work for everyone and charges at usb2 rather than 3. Android Auto works flawlessly and connecting the cable is simplicity itself as being magnetic the two ends snap together. You leave the USB C end in the phone and does stick out a little. Not as noticeable with a case on.

Why would you want TWO seemingly identical cables?

You can buy them in a set of four. In the case of the cables then I have one in vehicle and one in the house. Only need one USB c plug though. Also comes with micro USB and iPhone type plugs. Some reviews suggest the plugs have broken on removal from phone but mine has been fine.

Being amazon I was prepared to send it back if turned out to be useless. I've found it works as advertised. The ends snap together once near each other.
