AMD Overtakes NVIDIA In GPU Market Share For The First Time Since Q3 2014 – Jon Peddie Research

Already made my point, apparently reading or comprehending isn't your strong point. Obvious clickbait title which flew so far over your head it may as well be in orbit.

Clickbait article that is telling the truth. What is wrong with the article. It states that AMD for the first time since q3 2014 have passed Nvidia in market share. Is this correct or is this wrong?

Thanks for proving my point, i say "title" you somehow interpret that as "article". It would be more accurate to say they surpassed nvidia in amount of gpu shipments, but that's not enough of a headturner for a clickbait title.

I have already said the title is fine as it's the truth in one of my replies to you. The title states the truth and if it does not can you tell me what is wrong with it.

AMD has overtaken Nvidia according to the numbers or are your numbers showing something different.

Because it's using a term that most people associate with who is controlling the market, "market share". If you take overall market share amd for gpu's is still far behind nvidia, but that title pretty much implies otherwise like their positions have somehow flip flopped. Amd may have shipped more last quarter but as for who has the actual larger market share it's still by far nvidia.

This is an enthusiast forum we all know where discrete sales are at. The op posted it here so we all know apu's are thrown in to the overall market share. Even then if you were not in the know then you would think intel were the kings looking at the graph.

It was posted on Facebook to a PC group earlier and my reply there was totally different to here. On there i said it was due to Apu's and discrete sales being combined because most of them don't know better.

I just don't see the big issue tbh as almost every site has a headline that will make you want to read an article to see what's what.

Market share is sales (can be units or dollars) , installed base is what you are referring to.
