Sub £350 laptop - non gaming use

Hello,

I've got no idea what to look for when it comes to laptops! Main thing I'm looking for is a good quality screen, fast to load programs and can handle light music production (fl studio)

Any recommendations will be much appreciated!

At that rpice range, you're looking at second hand. For it to load porgrams fast, it'll likely need to be running a Linux distro as well.

Thinkpads are worth a look, you can get a decent quality machine for little money.

Yep used Thinkpads are great. But make sure it has a decent hi res IPS screen. The cheaper low res TN panels are very poor.

SSD and RAM upgrades are very easy for most Thinkpads. They can be added later. But agree this might be more significant for other laptops.
