Websites/apps that can identify music tracks?

Can anyone recommend any good websites or apps that can identify music tracks from an audio sample?

I have some instrumental tracks but I don't know who the composer is.

Yes. As a general rule, if it's on Spotify Shazam will probably identify it.

You can ask Siri what song it is if you have the shazam app. Just play it out loud.

that's what I mean...would it still recognise an instruental track if it was only the radio edit/album version on spotify, assuming the instrumental is the same just no vocals?

Should do, or it'll link to the normal version and you can figure it out from there.

None of the music I listen to is mainstream (prog house, dub techno, ambient/drone) and I still have decent results with Shazam. Haven't used Soundhound for years so I've no idea if it's any better these days.
