Well like a complete tool I was reversing and whilst noticed the wall behind me, I clearly didn't notice all of it as I hit the drivers side rear and smashed the casing on the rear tailight

The lights themselves work I have just badly scratched the bumber underneath the light and of course no casing anymore.

I'm at a loss of where to go to fix this with out being ripped off as I wouldn't know if I was realistically.

It's not all the light casing just the corner part

Can any one point me in the right direction? (pun not intended)

It's a seat leon mk3 2014

Possible to glue the bits together? If not look for a new rear light cluster on the correct side from a local scrapyard or eBay from someone breaking one.

Light are easy to swap. It's usually just some bolts behind the carpet or a panel in the boot then unplug it.

Looks like the rear lights are going for £50-100 on ebay.

As above, buy the whole unit, and unplug the wiring loom, and the unbolt the unit from within the boot and replace. Dont bother with a garage to do this. Youre lucky to only really damage the light. Some touch up paint and cutting compound may sort out the scratches.

Just looked at a video which I think was right, it does look surprisingly easy, so may attempt myself :)

Okay getting confused when looking at ebay as some match 2014 but say 5 or 5f varient and I ain't got a clue what the f but means?

It's a 5 door which is what I assume its asking

Chances are they will both fit, as above, make sure you get the correct side!

From what it sounds like that stuff should be pretty easy to sort out yourself.

As for the bumper, give it a good clean and polish and see how bad it still looks, chances are it'll look okay, if not you could always ebay a bumper, or even if you fancied it trying to respray it yourself, or some some kind of scratch repair.

What colour bumper, because something like black or silver is easy to colour match with rattle can paint. Very carefully mask the scratches, then spray over, few light coats, then get some spray laquer. OK, if you get up close, it wont look perfect, but otherwise will look fine, I have done similar in the past and been perfectly happy with the results.

EDIT:: Mask around the scratches, not mask the scratches lol.

5F is the vw group designation for the Mk3 Leon.

Cheers for all the help, got one from eurocarparts exact same manufacturer as current one, they had a voucher code so cost me £61 which I thought is good and just fit it myself.

The scratches ain't budging there pretty bad. A guy I know said to fix and respray is £160

Just careful to don't over tighten the light cluster back in place. Few people cracked their doing so. Had the same model Leon, had to remove the cluster few times, while investigating water ingress to the boot. In the end, it was a dodgy repair from the dealer, installing the "breathing" flap inverted.
About the bumper, not the worst scenario. Can be smart repaired. Not as the bonnet, which would require full spray.

It seemed stupidly tight when taking it off tbf, it's not on as tight as it was originally

Glady you haven't done the same mistake as some folks at the leonoc. Quite peculiar the way to remove the cluster, sideway. Always felt like would do some mistake and damage it. But lovely looking car.
