When a society becomes this decadent, the League Of Shadows is bound to turn up. Thankfully our caped crusader Transman will be here to save us... wait no, they've taken their own life instead.
But seriously, yes. Our society is in a moral decline spurred on by extreme individualism, the very fabric of society is coming apart. Is that a bad thing or just an evolution of the human species into something new? I guess we'll find out. Perhaps the idea of society is now redundant?

It would be interesting to know the exact year/decade that you think we reached peak "moral".

The first decade of the 20th century was one of the most peaceful in human history as far as conflict related deaths go. I chose 1912 fairly arbitrarily as a pre WWI date.
I thought we might be going back to before you couldn't get turned away from being served in a pub or were not be allowed to drive a bus, simply because you were black. But no, we've even gone back to before women were allowed to vote.

A lot of Men couldn't vote at that time either. A lot of soldiers returning home from WW1 couldn't actually vote because they didn't own property. There wasn't equality in any sense for anyone except rich people and royals basically. "Men" weren't some protected class, there are plenty of dead miners and soldiers from impoverished backgrounds who never had a vote who would laugh at the implication.

If it were normalised, then it wouldn't be taboo, and the only reason faux-cest is a trend is because it is taboo.

Let's be clear, I am not saying that 1912 was a time when everything was perfect. I don't believe for homosexuals should be sent to jail, or women denied the vote on the basis of their sex. But I do believe that the moral degradation of modern Western society have their root in the post-war era.
What moral degradation though? What is morally worse right now than it ever has been before?
Depends on your moral standpoint, surely?
Arguably the sexual morals in the West are completely in the toilet...
