Insurance Question

presumably you have found a company that will recognise your DE no claims bonus ? (maybe I missed a similar comment)
I had to get formal translation and that required some work.

In retrospect driving your DE car across (maybe it was a company car) may have been wise ... I had an OK from my Eu insurer, for a month or so whilst I found a permanent address ... lhd is no problem.

I haven't owned a car in DE, just used Car2Go/DriveNow.

I'm here now at the temporary accommodation, I can see why insurance quotes here are astronomical. There's a fort knox like steel gate into the parking area. Literally when getting out to unlock it with the keypad there are junkies in the dark corners watching you. It's ****ing grim.

I've solved the problem by spunking part of the relocation cash allowance on an AirBnB in a nice town near my work for a month until I get my rental sorted. Booked rental car for a couple of weeks too, should give me time to find something.

I'm not fussy, just want a reliable runner with plenty of room, estate ideally. If anyone's selling anything....:)
