iPad Pro 10.5 - Which iOS version?

Hello - got a 10.5 with iOS 11.3.1. Is it worth upgrading to 12.4? Conscious of battery life slowing down. Unfortunately no real benchmarks online.

I can't say I noticed any difference in battery life upgrading from iOS 11 to iOS 12 (or from any earlier version) on my iPad Air 2.

Why would you not want your iPad running the version of iOS with the latest features and security patches?

It can't be that long before iOS 13 is due for release.

IIRC iOS 12 must have the first update where people weren’t moaning about worse performance and battery life, quite the opposite in fact.

It’s not as if iPads have much of an issue with battery life in the first place. Nothing like the phones.

There's been an awful lot of security updates since your version and the latest. That's reason enough to keep updated.

Not the same hardware as the OP, but performance will be as good as iOS 11.x, if not better.

Interesting. Upgraded to 12.4.1 and definitely feels faster.
