AMD Radeon RX 5300XT

Interesting definition of ahead. Just shy of the third tier card from NVidia and that is with a process node advantage.:)
Well yeah. 3rd tier card less than 10% behind Nvidia's 3rd tier card on a the first-generation of a new node with an architecture that will mature and scale vs an architecture that has already peaked. And £100 cheaper to boot.

I'd say AMD were prepped to go ahead, the 5800 series can't come soon enough.

Well yes AMD are in a good position to improve with whatever they release above the 5700xt, but seeing how some of the coolers on them are already triple slot, it will be interesting to see how far AMD can push the next set of cards.

The low profile single slot GPUs have been left way behind leaving a lot of people frustrated. Appreciate these users may not be hard core gamers but as mentioned a lot of people would snap up for Netflix and some light gaming for there htpc/sff systems.

I do hope they do something in this area

RX 5500M 7nm Navi 14 with 1408 shaders and 1645MHz GDDR6 looks very good - 30% faster than GTX 1650 in 3D Mark 11.

Quite a performance improvement over RX 560X 14nm Polaris 11/Baffin with 1024 shaders and 1450MHz GDDR5.

30% over a 1650 could put this little beauty nearly up with a RX580, come on AMD give us a really nice low/mid card at a great price.
Just dont push it too hard and dont take it out of the sweet spot for power and thermals.
