So I woke up on Sat to find my workstation machine would no longer post.

I used it last week Sat and last turned it on on Wed.

Yesterday (Sat) I turned it on, the fans spin up the lights are on, but there is no post from the mobo. No output to the screen.

I've reseated the ram, changed the ssd to see if it was that, unplugged the power cables and plugged them back in and switched the GPU but still no post.

It's an old machine that I use for my studies.

FX 8320
AM3 mobo
16Gb DDR3
M4 SSD

I've been looking at options at replacing the parts but it's gona cost me up to £200.

Could it be worth a shot buying a cheap £30 AM3 mobo just in case it's the board that's the issue?

A few months ago it started experience audio crackle and needing a reboot to clear it so maybe it finally gave up the ghost. It's not really that old tho. Maybe 4 years in total.

The PSU seems fine, as far as I'm concerned all points to the mobo giving up.

There are no beep codes at all.

What you reckon?
