Holiday: Sightseeing in Side, Antalya

Hi,

Going tomorrow and simply haven't had time to do much research this time.

A few people here travel around a lot and usually have good suggestions.

Anyone been and able to recommend any must see sights / things to do in Side, Antalya or nearby areas?

Group of 4 adults - not into clubbing etc.

Check out Tripadvisor for the area, I did this recently on my trip to Ios (Greek island) it was very useful.

Had I researched a bit more thoroughly prior to going I’d have realised Ios is a different island to Santorini where we flew into but that’s another story!

Yeah that's my plan to sit down in a bit! It was quite useful in Lanzarote and Spain (Almeria) and we found plenty to check out from there

Thankfully when I asked him how far away it was literally less than an hour by fast ferry so all good - and it added greatly to the whole experience tbh - but given the amount of Greek islands - and how far spread they are - I was lucky it was close!

Lesson learned for next year (every intention of going back)

If you are up for a bit of a trek try and get over to pammukkale (think that's how it spelt)

Genuinely one of the most amazing places I've ever seen.

Trek indeed! Haha bit too far unfortunately. We do have a hire car but don't plan on travelling that far I'm afraid. Cheers though!

Today checked out Manavgat Waterfall and Oymapınar dam / Green Canyon (1 hour boat trip)
