x570 dual bios

I'm having trouble finding a list of boards with dual bios, I see some have bios flashback which Ithink isn't the same thing?

I'm interested in this feature as there seems to be lots of updates for this new gen and I don't want to brick a new board when i get it.

Gigabyte/aorus are only ones with dual bios

they are also easily removable- not that you would do it but for UK Based RMA team, other vendors are EU based for mobo's

i believe all board vendors have Quick Bios flash for x570 line up this time around

£240 for the X570 PRO Wifi version which is cracking ! as normal non wifi is £240

I can't see anything about dual bios on either "Aorus pro" listings. I do find it for the non wifi version on the Gigabyte website which is £260 on OCUK. The other version on here is the "I Aorus pro wifi" which is £227 and doesn't have dual bios according to the Gigabyte website.

Why they put the I infront of the Aorus is hard to fathom. I can only think they want people to miss it and order the wrong board.

I is the ITX version, which is an insanely powerful Mobo for its size. Almost handles as much amps across the CPU as the Pro/Ultra does and for cheaper !

you'll have to search for the Aorus x570 Pro wifi yourself . against the rules to link cheaper - and not all resellers are equal- luckily gigabte has good customer service

head to their website, and its under Ultra Durable - gigabyte have had dual Bios chips for 5 odd years now maybe more

You dont need dual bios anymore now that flashback is about, flashback is there to save your board if you brick it from a bios flash, it allows you to flash the bios with just the motherboard, usb stick and PSU plugged in, nothing else needs to be connected.

If bios chip doesn;t work for what ever reason, then its RMA , or the chip that controls the quick flash can also stop working. think theres been one case on here so far but within 14 days so replaced

Thanks, I didn't know about this feature and was looking at dual bios boards incase the flash failed.

Almost every x570 board comes with it in one way or another, they just all call it something different, just check the specs of the board youre interested in and they will say if the board has the feature or not.

MSI call it Flashback+
ASUS call it CrashFree Bios
Gigabyte have dual bios
As for ASRock, im not sure if their boards have it or not, ive never used one.
