What the Health Documentary on Netlifx.

lighten up man and stop seeing conflict in every post.

I'm not, I politely pointed out that you've missed the point and yet you're repeatedly quoting me to tell me things that were already in the OP, my questions remain unanswered. You're not adding anything here, I've read the OP, I literally quoted from it - I'm still none the wiser as to what exactly has been concealed and by whom.

For example the apparent link red between meat and cancer doesn't seem to have been concealed very well:

https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/ab...es-eating-processed-and-red-meat-cause-cancer

Who concealed that and when?

OP has made some vague claims, I'm asking for details.

What will be interesting is if Netflix will be lobbied and persuaded to take the documentary down, like they did with the dentistry one talking about root canals and Mercury.

When was this released anyway? Is it new?

That one seems to have been total dangles tbh...

Bailey’s 72-minute film makes eye-popping claims about how cancer, heart conditions and other serious illnesses are caused by asymptomatic infections inside root canals or in the empty spaces left behind after a wisdom tooth extraction. Bacteria and other toxins, the film argues, fester in the jaw and then travel to other organs along “meridian lines”, which according to traditional Chinese medicine move life force throughout the body, spreading infection and causing cancer and other illnesses to take root.

Among the most jarring claims in Root Cause is a connection between root canals and breast cancer. “Ninety-eight per cent of women that have breast cancer have a root canal tooth on the same side as their offending breast cancer,” the film repeats.

They probably wear a shoe on that side too... maybe shoes cause breast cancer?

there you go, now you're asking the questions correctly. :p (btw that smiley tongue thing is usually taken to indicate someone is having a joke/laugh ;))

that's a much more meaty, fleshed out question (pardon the pun) than your original 1 liner that was crying out for a silly reply (which i gave it) I do apologise for leading you bit of a merry dance but it's been a long and boring day at work :D

Well the original question was asked properly and wasn't aimed at you, in the first place. Hopefully the further illustration has let the penny drop. I do hope you've now got whatever boredom you had off your chest from the previous uninformative replies though. :)

(filling up the threads with deliberately silly replies because you're bored at work isn't all that helpful!)

Some of it is true, here is a good link saying what is true and what is not with regards to the movie, better to read what a dentist has to say about it rather than a journalist, maybe not always but yeah...

I think the film maker was overinvested emotionally with his film, after getting so much better after his root canalled tooth was removed.

You have to conceded that a lot of the meat of today is different to the meat of yesterday, it is not beyond reason that some farming practises may produce a product that could harm you in some way.

Same for any food really.

Meat that comes out of industrial slaughter houses I agree.

Meat from local farmers, where their cattle graze in pastures, not so much.

That mostly debunks the documentary - that they've got some things vaguely right doesn't counter the fact that it was seemingly a pretty dire and misleading documentary.

More of the world than not are eating meat/dairy from the second types of practises than not no? I'd hate to be an ignorant American (not saying all Americans are ignorant) consuming some of their dairy products... Ewwwww!

Sure, but if it had never happened would I know to ask for a certain type of xray to check my own root canals when they are ready? No dentist ever told me that before the movie, anecdotal but there you go!

It wasn’t a silly question and the point re: it not being you that I asked has also gone over your head - namely you didn’t know the answer but for some reason thought repeating posts I’d already seen back to me was useful?

Ding ding ding. I missed that one - ‘over my head’ Nothing you say goes over anyone’s head fella, your as repetitive and obvious as Big Ben.

I think a lot of us don't know/understand or even care about the livestock industry, and those that do are easily swayed by false advertising and meaningless seals of approval.

Looks at the Happy Egg company. Oh yes all our hens roam free in long grass. Lol. There's just no way you can source supermarkets with millions of eggs from those conditions, and the reality is they'll have millions of hens in battery cages.

So unless you're buying your meat/dairy from local farmers/trusted butchers, I'd say it's all from mega farms and mechanised slaughter factories.

There is fascinating evidence emerging on the complex interplay between health, illness and the gut microbiome. Changing your diet will change the microbiome. I’m not sure why absolutely everything has to be some sort of cover up. If there’s a particular cocktail of gut flora that can be patented or sold, drug companies will be all over it.

I do believe that we should be buying local produce where possible, but that’s a different argument.

I don't know how the cavemen survived for generation after generation after eating so much meat..... toxic....

That's not the point though. The meat and dairy industry is so badly contaminated compared to then, its literally killing us. Your comment is null and void.
