Don't know what it's like now, but Marc Gene posted a video from the S/F straight between when FP3 and qualifying would have happened. Just consistent rain with no real issues visible (probably a red flag in F1, but no obscene flooding or anything at that point).

As for updates, it's currently 5:30am in Japan, so not surprising there haven't been any updates. Hopefully everything is fine.
