Tough budget. Avoid the ever popular AMD CPU with AMD graphics (RX560 X or similar) as they really struggle at this end of the market to deliver decent gaming.
Asus TUF laptops will get you a Ryzen 5 (more than ample) and GTX 1650. This is the sub £700 sweet spot at the moment.

Whilst the GTX1050/1050ti are still available they make little sense with the 1650 in budget.
Otherwise, as soon as you get to c£900 it opens up the 1660/1660ti or sale RTX2060 usually on the Asus Rog / Zephyrus.
I would have recommended the Acer Nitro or Asus Zephyrus that have the 1660ti in, but prices have gone back up in the last couple of days.

Think it can still be had for c£900 though. It's not as powerful as the full 1660ti non-max q laptops but the compromise for portability and battery life is a very useful trade-off which the reviews for it never seem to focus on.
