Why does only 1 pipe go into the 'silencer box thing' ?
The other one has a bluetooth operated valve in for "Track/Race Mode"
makes it MUCH louder

Loads more bass and mid bass compared to the Wharfedale Diamond 10.1s they're replacing. They sound very good for £279.

£279 on squeakers and you stick one right in the corner?
Not ideal, but
- Front ported
- No choice
- They sound great
- £279 isn't much
It's good for the bass, that's for sure!
(Edit: Many years ago I shoe-horned my first hifi into an unsuitable room. I had to have floorstanders, of course, and stuck them right in the corners. That was a valuable lesson!)
