Hi - I'm new to the forum (and building PC's!), and was told this is the best place to ask!

My old graphics card was an Nvidia WindForce 970 GTX, and it no longer works so I'm looking to replace it.
I'm looking for something that would be max £300, and would run ArmA 3/CoD MW at decent settings smoothly. Is this doable?

PC Specs:
Gigabyte Technology Co. Z170XP-SLI motherboard
Intel Core i5-6600k @ 3.50GHz CPU
8.00Gb RAM
SuperFlower SF-550F14MP 80 Plus Platinum PSU
x2 DDR4's
Alpenfohn cooler

Many many thanks in advance! :)
(also looking for people to game with!)

If you don't mind B-Grade this would be a fantastic option for the price:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £199.99 (includes shipping: £0.00)

Price might seem good but AMD blower coolers are terrible. I wouldn't touch a reference card unless you want a hairdryer in your pc.

I would much rather have this if going B grade, even though it is an extra £79. You are getting the best version of the Vega 64 as well.

Other option would be an RX 5700 although they are a bit over £300 on ocuk.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £288.89 (includes shipping: £9.90)

Thank you for your replies. May I ask, what would be the pros to getting the above suggestions, compared to getting a GTX1060-06G for example? (I'm fairly new to all this, apologies!)

The only way I'd buy a 1060 6G at this point in time is if you could find one for £120-150 max, which is unlikely.

The above suggestions are both considerably faster cards.
