Yeah it's not bad but I had an otter box on Samsung that was much chunkier, not that it stopped the magical crack happening in corner
Check the OnePlus silicone ones, the carbon and the red are pretty thick and would protect the phone. I usually stick with the thin kevlar/plastic ones and my all my phones have survived the drops.

Ideally I would go with OnePlus own cases, they were the best for my 6t. If you're not against the idea I would use AliExpress. I got the red silicone and sandstone from there for £17 in total, 100% genuine. A good bit cheaper than the RRP if you don't mind the extra wait.

Took a few pictures on my 7t today, mix of wide angle, super macro and just standard.. they're quite decent overall

Had a 7T Pro turn up on Saturday and been using it sporadically over the weekend, it's potentially replacing a XS Max. So far I like the screen and its bloody fast, but the fingerprint reader is really hit and miss and frustrating it hasn't received any of the OTA updates which fix a number of the issues and software bugs.

I find that I rarely need it, face-unlock is fast! but not as secure of course. Fingerprint is only used for bankins apps/paypal etc.

Have you registered the same fingerprint twice to see if that helps matters?

haha! I am coming from pixel 2 xl and 7t from my day with it produces similar quality pictures and I was perfectly happy with my 2xl.

That's good to hear, especially now that reviews of the Pixels are coming out and are making it look underwhelming to say the least.

One thing that is holding me back is....

the fingerprint reader is really hit and miss and frustrating it hasn't received any of the OTA updates which fix a number of the issues and software bugs.
