Need help deciding: 2080Ti + Acer Nitro 4k 144Hz or 2080 Super + 1440p UW

I'm going back and forth on this dilemma if anyone can help:

Option 1) spend more than I wanted and get a 2080Ti + Acer Nitro 4k 144Hz Monitor (i'm not sure a 2080 super will do enough for a 144Hz 4k monitor maxing out all settings)

Option 2) come in under budget but get a 2080 Super and a 1440p UW Monitor such as the Predator X34P or the AOC AGON AG352UCG6

Any thoughts? - if option 2, which is the best 1440p monitor to go for?

This is more of a maths question really. If option 1 is over budget then get option 2.

Oh I could go over budget if it was worth it, but I have no experience with 4k gaming to know if its worth it over a 1440 UW. I have the x34a UW myself, this is a build I'm doing for someone else.

I know the super will of course handle the 1440 fine as my PC is a 1080ti and it does just fine. But wasn't sure how the super and ti match for 4k monitors over 60hz r3frsh rate and how its worth it or not.

Wouldn’t go with 4K personally as cards currently can’t get anywhere near the 144hz in AAA games.

1440 UW or even 1440 240hz is probably the best to go.

Only if you insist on ultra quality. Current cards can't get a steady 60 fps at 1080p if you max RTX. Game technologies always exceed the capabilities of the cards available at launch. Remember Crysis?
