Wouldn't touch Corsair power units personally unless it is the AX series, go for seasonic, superflower, Bequiet or Evga higher end units.

Superflower Leadex units are good solid power supplies, The Corsair RM range are decent and have a hefty 10 year manufacturers warranty

Don't put too much stock into branding, any company can (and likely will) put out poor components.

As for Superflower, that's the original Leadex PSU. If you want one of those PSU's look for the Leadex III's such as the following:

As for the newest Corsair RM units, absolutely nothing wrong with them. Absolutely great power supplies with a nice long 10 year warranty.
