It absolutely is forward, never going to get overuled though.
Nah. Close, but not close enough to rub the try out.
On the reply you can see clearly it's forward, terrible decision and the line judge is stood there

It was right on the limit, that’s for sure.
It's the problem with video refs in general, in both rugby and football - the on field ref will let more go on the basis that it can be reviewed, but then to be overturned it needs to be a clear and obvious mistake
Edit: I agree with @Milkybk that it's hard to tell and I don't think it can be overruled if the ref didn't pick it up, but my instinct was forward

If this RWC has shown us anything, forward isn’t what it used to be and neither is offside. I hate elite refereeing.
It's the same in the premiership.

The line out is now routinely not contestable, literally they play by different laws at elite level to those I’ve played my entire career.
Exactly, forward is no longer forward, Wales got away with exactly the same thing against France
Yup! You can question the ref, but ultimately all that matters is we've come up against a team which has played a lot better on the day and totally neutralised usWe have been consistent all game in ******* up the simple stuff. It’s so frustrating to watch after the way we played all competition, but especially against Australia and New Zealand.
