Hey,

Want the best monitor I can get for this price range. Any suggestions are awesome.

These are just a few I am considering and wondered if there are any im missing:

Asus ROG SWIFT PG349Q 34" 3440x1440 IPS 120Hz G-Sync
LG 34GK950F 34" 3440x1440 NANO IPS FREESYNC 2 HDR 144Hz (G-Sync adaptable)
Alienware AW3418DW 34" IPS WQHD 3440x1440 120Hz G-Sync
Acer Predator X34P 34" WQHD IPS 3440x1440 100Hz (OC to 120Hz) G-Sync

Regards

Does that monitor work with G-Sync Jedi?

Yup works even better than the 5700XT LOL!! (that had a weird problem of seeing it as multi-monitor and had black screen problems when bringing it out of sleep and the odd flickering issue. Ti has no such issues). And you're looking at the older model, the CRG90 is 1440p :)

Sorry I quoted the wrong model number. No stock atm at OcUK but it can be found (C49RG90)

I've started to use the HDR on mine now I've set it up correctly and it's great!!! Lovely boost to the visuals

Def check out some reviews @FlyingScotsman , it's so so epic if you have the space ;) (better value than the LG imo, I run it at 10bit 100hz and it's smooth)

Thanks @JediFragger yeah that looks minted and yeah I do have a large desk so would not have any issues with space.
Do you run it at the standard resolution of 5120?
Or do you drop it to 4k for gaming?
Thanks mate.

I've got the Acer Predator X34P 34" WQHD IPS 3440x1440 100Hz (OC to 120Hz) G-Sync and not got any complaints, lovely picture and didnt cost the earth.

The Alienware has been superseded by a new model, although I believe both will continue to be sold. The new one is the AW3420DW with 120Hz native rather than needing overclcoked I think. I have the 3418 and have no complaints whatsoever. I doubt I will be buying a monitor for another three or four years easily.

Yup, the right monitor is def a 5yr+ investment imo.

For me personally I think a 43in 4k/144hz monitor would be ideal, as I'd get the big size for media and also could run a 3840x1600 custom res for Ultrawide gaming (and also wouldn't be too taxing on gfx, so more fps than 4k) :)

Something I'll be looking at doing next year when a few models are out.

Thanks for all the responses guys, I did look at the AW3420DW actually, lets hope there are some awesome black friday deals on them.

deffo some things to consider tbh

I saw the Alienware 3418 was $690 in the US, Are we being shafted in the UK?
