Any ideas what to go for? been out of the loop for a while...I game at 1440p but I think my cpu/board/ram needs changing...may need a new case and cpu cooler too.

I play games very well on current system in sig but think there's some slight stutter in some due to bottleneck maybe?

I'd move onto the DDR4 platform, nothing wrong with DDR3 it's just aging now and some used parts cost near on the same as the newer stuff...

A nice Ryzen Bundle with fast RAM would go down well I reckon with the GPU you have

What is your budget? You could go MSI B450 Max or an X570 which costs abit more but Im sure it has its advantages.. The Ballistix Sport LT RAM gets recommended a lot and others on here have got some great results from changing the speeds etc however if you just want out the Box fast RAM then get 3200+ mhz team group Vulcan...

Case wise I like to leave that to you or others to choose as we all have different tastes and needs, I can happily say though Phanteks and Fractal Design do some brilliant cases, great quality, lots of space and look great I've always gone with them

As for the CPU Cooler, if your going Air then the Arctic Freezer 34 is a great performer for a great price

The system in your sig should be good enough for the moment. Use the usual monitoring tools to see if your CPU is bottlenecking you and where any performance issues lie.

If the CPU is getting maxxed look at the Ryzen 3700 - the 8 core model - as a better upgrade than the 6 core 3600.

Ryzen 3600, no need for extra for the X version. Or spend a bit more and go for the 3700. Solid B450 motherboard should save you some money, such as the MSI. 16GB 3200MHz RAM should be enough, and later on another 16GB.
