Can the 4GB Asus Dual RX480 4GB be unlocked?

Just recently came across GPU unlocking to cards and can't seem to find much information about the RX480 Asus Dual. I was wondering if anyone knows if a bios can be flashed to unlock 8GB of VRAM. Or even if the 4GB can be flashed with an RX580 bios?

The only thing flashing a specific BIOS on a specific card will do is change the frequency of the GPU (which can be done with certain AMD based cards to give a free performance boost).

It will NOT give you extra VRAM as what is on the card is all you'll get.

Apparently a lot of the 4GB cards just have a modified bios to only use 4GB of VRAM.

Early 480 4gb cards could be flashed to 8gb using a 480 8gb BIOS. Google "rx480 flash to 8gb" for more info.
Whether newer cards can be done the same not sure.
