Hi

I was all set to get the Tomahawk Max for my new system (3700x) with a P600s case which has a front USB-C port but after reading up a bit more I notice that this board does not support a front USB-C.

I see that the X570 AORUS ELITE does, but it is quite a bit more expensive. Does anyone have any other recommendations. The additional M.2 may come in handy someday as well.

Cheers

cost is down to PCIe 4.0 and then VRM and board design is a massive set up from B450 and x470 boards

Thanks, I think i will just bite the bullet and go for the Elite, I tend to keep my computers quite a long time and I watched a couple of videos on the Elite yesterday and it seemed to get rave reviews and this seems to future proof my build a bit over the Tomahawk max.

I have a 2TB M.2 drive coming on the 20th after I snapped it up for 187 quid at the weekend. As this board supports two M.2 drives is there any benefit on having a smaller one solely for the OS and keeping the 2TB for games and applications?

Thanks, yes the Sabrent rocket seemed like a great deal for 2TBs as I had been eyeing the 1TB for 110 quid. Ok great I will stick with the one to start with and add more later if needed.

I will checkout the nzxt case thank you
