Hi , got a Gigabyte x570 aorus master this Friday and I've had nothing but problems with it.
First I spent a couple of day was trying to install a stable Windows 10.
With a old GT 440 the mouse and keyboard would lock up in bios by just adding a bootable device.
Found a workaround was using the usb3 and usb3.1 ports for the mouse and keyboard.
Next it would BSOD in windows before I had a chance of installing the chip set drivers.
Found a workaround was drop to power save mode until I installed the chip set drivers.

Now I've tried using the rear speaker output which have no output , it says you have plugs in speakers , but no sound.
Just found my workaround this, the drivers installs a Realtek app which I needed to set up.
Sound working let hope ?

Is that board that bad or is it me being unlucky ?

what build version of windows 10 are you using? anything Pre -Anniversary edition and you'll have crashing until your able to update .

grab latest build from MS from the get go

https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

also, GPU might of caused issues

I'm on the latest version which updated last night , but before that, it was what I downloaded from Microsoft Late October .

From looking on-line at Gigabyte's forums I can see that the usb2 ports are a major problem compared to the usb3 ports, giving the same problems which I had with the mouse and keyboard in bios.
I've got it more or less stable now , Tried disabling legacy support and enabled 60/64 for usb, which people said fixed there problems.

The only problem I have now is with my commander pro which uses the internal usb port and stops monitoring every few mins.
A mouse and keyboard work on any usb port , usb speaker are crackly , but now I can use the built it sound card that is no problem.

SO … Is the usb2 ports fully working and it's the commander pro ? , I did test it with my I7 for a couple of days before installing it , OR , software problem which would do the same on any port or motherboard ? , OR they is a problem still with the usb port and the commander pro is very sensitive to it ?.

I may try downloading a new copy from Microsoft on a spare drive and do a fresh install , but don't think than will make a difference , but may be worth a try !!!!

ha, software ontop of hardware .

guessing your on the latest software of the Commander Pro ? CORSAIR iCUE v3.21.88 <16/10/2019

also check the firmware version

have a check for USB 3.0 internal to 2.0 internal cable > £2-5 . if USB 2.0 internal and external playing up, moving to spare internal 3.0 for Pro might help

Do they made a internal USB3 to internal USB2 ? , that could be a good idea .
My case uses all 2 internal port , but wouldn't mind removing one if I get a usb3 with a usb2 type socket.

Looking on overclocker's it has this :- https://www.overclockers.co.uk/akasa-usb-3.0-to-usb-2.0-adapter-cable-cb-107-ak.html
It says USB3 to USB2 , but the picture looks to show USB2 to USB3

The picture should look like this ? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Diverse-Va...7T3XDJTRETQ&psc=1&refRID=VE1V5DKXF7T3XDJTRETQ

You'd need Female USB 3.0 to Male 2.0

3.0 and 2.0 headers on the Master of Male (Pins sticking out)

so the second one

I think I may have fix it !!! , it is hard to fix some thing to can`t see.
So what I did what try different options and see what stopped the USB speakers from crackling .
I've had my record of commander pro logged temps which is over a hour now.
