which motherboard is better, for that processor a m2. ssd and either amd 5700xt or nvidia 2070 rtx super

wiht crucial ddr4 3200 ram

id like to do some over clocking also

get MSI B450 Carbon for little more then Toma- VRM are slightly different. actually 4x2 set up vs 4 of Toma. Elite is a different kettle of fish you you also pay the price for it. are you going to 12 cores in the next 3-4 years with 2nd hand chip upgrade?

Gigabyte has the better warranty and support by far- seems bios has been overhauled lately. MSI has the price and easy bios

Both are good boards and will handle an overclocked 3700x no problem so it really boils down to features. Do you need more than 1 m.2 or would benefit from pcie4, if the answer is yes then get the aorus if the answer is no then go for the tomahawk.

you can upgrade and overclock 16 core CPUs on either board in the future but you would ideally want some airflow on the Vrms for the tomahawk which wouldn't be needed on the aorus.

Toma VRM will run very hot if manually OC and performing workloads. Carbon would Handle a little better , elite would run cooler . All would achieve same Over clock pretty much
